Our Approach

We have simplified the process of bringing Filipino therapists to the U.S.

Our Approach
step one:
1 step one:

Earning a Spot

Coming to work in the United States is a thrilling prospect, but our program can only support a limited number of therapists. To qualify, you must satisfy a handful of prerequisites.

  • Tick

    Education Requirement

First and foremost, you must possess a transitional DPT or a Master’s degree in Physical or Occupational Therapy to satisfy the educational requirement to practice in the U.S.

  • Tick

    Culture Match

Because of our desire to foster an environment of positivity and enthusiasm, the quality of your character is just as important to us as the quality of your service. Specifically, InHome seeks individuals with a strong work ethic, a pleasant personality, and a passion for excellent healthcare that matches our own.

  • Tick

    Apply for an Interview

If you match our background criteria, then you may apply for a virtual interview with an InHome Therapy representative. Should your application pass our internal review, we will contact you to schedule an interview. Internet calls can be stressful, but just be yourself; making it this far means you’ve piqued our interest!

  • Tick

    Gaining Our Sponsorship

After your interview, we will initiate the final round of our selection process. If you’re chosen for our sponsorship, we’ll waste no time in beginning your immigration to the United States.

2 step two:

Starting the Immigration Process

The United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) supervises the lawful immigration to the U.S., and we must abide by their rules to receive you into our community.

Here is a bulleted list of the process in chronological order:

The Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL)

  • The TOEFL is required for all practicing therapists educated outside the U.S.
  • We will schedule, pay for, and prepare you for this exam.

Credentialing and Board Exam

  • We will assist you with the credentialing process:
    • Physical Therapists = The Foreign Credentialing Commission of Physical Therapy (FCCPT)
    • Occupational Therapists = The National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
  • We will register you for online courses taught by experienced instructors to prepare you for your board exam.
  • Before the board exam, we will ensure you receive your Authorization to Test (ATT), which will allow you to take the exam.
  • We will schedule and pay for this exam, as well.

Green Card

  • Your green card will grant you permanent residency in the U.S.
  • We will begin to tackle the acquisition of your green card as soon as your credentials are approved.
Again, you will not navigate this terrain alone. Our legal experts will guide you through every step of the immigration process.
Step 3
3 step Three:

Integrating into the Team

You’ve attained your licenses to practice therapy. You’ve passed your TOEFL. You’ve earned your green card.

Next stop: The United States of America.
